June 2007

I am self taught but I did study under Peter Adsett (Artist) and completed my Level 7 in June 2007.  Peter doesn't give answers to one's art but guides his students through their process.

What an exhilarating journey...I now see art in a new critical way.  What stood out for me from the course?

1.       Process

2.       Materiality

3.       Horizontality

4.       Figure Background Shift

5.       Space, Creating

6.       Cultural Space

7.       Historical shifts in Art

8.       Rosalind Krauss

9.       Eva Hesse

10.   Slippage

I've attached some of my artworks (mainly Site Specific) from my studies.
